Unlike other youth programs, 249G Acres focuses on the often-overlooked foster youth. From the beginning, the U.S. government has focused of children of ethnicity and underprivileged youth. While there currently exists a large number of homeless foster youth, none of the current programs focusses on preventing such an occurrence in foster youth. By contrast, 249G Acres' evolutionary perspective introduces a form of "expanded perception" that provides a new way to prevent the degrading of society.
